MacGyver season 3 episode 11 spoilers: Mac, Jack’s short-lived vacation

The first 2019 episode of MacGyver isn’t going to be all that far into the new year — thankfully! It’s going to be coming back on Friday, January 4 in the show’s typical timeslot, and we’re going to have a chance to see a couple of different stories play out.
Below, CarterMatt offers up the MacGyver season 3 episode 11 synopsis with some other information as to what’s coming up next:
“Mac + Fallout + Jack” – Mac and Jack hit the road for a weekend of relaxation in Las Vegas, but their mini-vacation is cut short when someone from their past abducts them and locks them in a concrete room. Also, Matty tasks Riley, Bozer and Leanna with stealing a diamond encoded with terrorist intel from a princess in Milan, on MACGYVER, Friday, Jan. 4 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Sound fun? We do think that there’s something really entertaining about the idea of Mac and Jack in Las Vegas, let alone seeing some of the aftermath of that … whatever that ends up being. This is MacGyver and because of that, things are almost certainly going to get crazy.
As for the Riley, Bozer, and Leanna story…
The thing that surprises us in some way is that Matty’s going to just try to move forward right away after everything that just happened when it comes to Ethan. Granted, at the same time this is the sort of person Matty is. She is not someone who tends to dwell on things all that long, so we cannot say that we’re 100% shocked that she getting right back on the horse and focusing on her work. It’s a big part of what makes Matty the person that she is, and her resilience is certainly one of the things that is the most admirable about her.
As for the story for the other characters, we mostly just want it to be fun. One of the things that we’ve come to love about Riley, Bozer, and Leanna is the pure joy that they bring to almost every little thing that they do. The more of them we see, the happier we’re going to be.
