NCIS: Los Angeles season 10: What should lie ahead for each character?

As we head into the second half of NCIS: Los Angeles premiering in the new year, what should happen to some of your favorite characters? That’s what this particular article is all about! In the aftermath of the fall finale we’ve taken a look at several different characters and come up with a few different thoughts as to what should be coming up for each of them.

Callen – See the other side of Anna’s recovery and what’s next for the two of them. He showed at the end of this past episode just how much he still cares for her after all they’ve been through. We think the investment is here with these two and we don’t want to just see her vanish for years within the walls of a prison. Give us a good sense of what’s next!

Sam – What’s going to be happening with his family? There’s so much meat with this particular story but we haven’t really had all that many opportunities to actually explore how everyone is doing after the death of Michelle in a while. Hopefully, the second half addresses that a little bit more.

Deeks – Can he balance out the bar, working with his mother, and then also his job? He’s taking on a lot at the moment and we do think it’d be interesting to explore what sort of strain this puts on his life on some level.

Kensi – We want to see something geared more towards her specifically, as opposed to something tied to her relationship with Deeks. Even the bar is something that’s been his personal dream; when can Kensi get her own story that is tied to either her past or a mission she especially cares about?

Nell – Can we get her out into the field again for something? We think that she’s got a skill set that works really well out there and it feels like the perfect time for her to have a spotlight story.

Eric – On the other side of the Deeks / Kensi wedding, it does feel like the right time for Eric to take another step forward with Nell. He should be thinking about that right now.

Hetty – We want her back whenever Linda Hunt is able to return. Hopefully that happens sooner rather than later, but there’s no real rushing it.
