In the new video, you can hear James Spader, Megan Boone, and the rest of the show’s cast detail some of the new ins and outs on season 6. There’s a lot of exciting stuff in here, and a lot of it really stems from the big reveal at the end of this past season that the Reddington we’ve come to know over time is an imposter. The man Liz is working with is not her father, who presumably died many years ago. What’s so fascinating about this change is the simple fact that this particular version of Reddington is likely way more interesting than the man who actually died. This one is an international criminal and someone who has buried almost everything about who they are in secrets.
Ultimately, the quest now for one Elizabeth Keen is to figure all of this out and that is really the focus of much of the drama within this season. we’re going to have a fantastic opportunity from start to finish in order to see Liz actually have the gift of information that Reddington does not have — she has an element of firepower that she’s never quite had over him before and there is something exciting and different that goes along with that. She can investigate most of what’s going on with him under the radar … or at least try to. This is the real point of conflict within the season — it’s not easy to keep a secret from one of the most intelligent criminals known to mankind. Reddington is the sort of person who can sniff out secrets from a mile away and you have to think that this is something that he is absolutely going to try to do if he even catches a whiff of some of what’s going on around him.
Be prepared — season 6 is going to be all sorts of epic and interesting. This is the biggest game-changing season that we’ve had a chance to see so far, and there are probably even more twists and turns coming.
