Floribama Shore season 2 episode 19 preview: Is Nilsa making Gus jealous?
Obviously, just getting everyone down to Mexico in the first place is going to be a fairly-exciting event in itself, just because it does offer up a crazy opportunity to see some of these people in a strange, fish-out-of-water setting that is very different from any that they’ve been in before. That really is going to ratchet up the comedic potential for this show up to 11, mostly because you’ll probably see people stumble with the language barrier and other things … while of course also doing a little bit of the partying that this series has become known for over the years.
Also, you do have to go ahead and prepare yourself for some more relationship drama — with it revolving this time around on Nilsa and Gus … again. After everything that happened back at the familiar house, it seems like Nilsa is going on the offensive to find herself some people to get close to. Is this going to make Gus jealous? Only time will tell, but it is at least going to shake things up a little bit. (Granted, it does also seem like a number of the guys on the show are going to have a number of women who could be interested in them, as well.)
More so than anything else, we think the appeal for these episodes in Mexico is to just give the show a different feel and a different tone for a while, that way it does continue to feel like there is somewhat of a fresh coat of paint here. You’re at the end of a long season and you want to find a way in which to ensure that people are still talking about you. What better way in which to do this than spend some time in a foreign country? It mixes up the energy a little bit and allows for some chances to do some things that you wouldn’t get to normally do on the series. We’ll just have to wait and see precisely where things go as we get closer to the end of the season. There isn’t all that much time left!
The one big of sad news here at the moment is the fact that, at least for now, there is no official word on a Floribama Shore season 3. It’d be nice to see it happen, so maybe there will be a little bit more word presented on that particular topic over time.
