Grey’s Anatomy season 15 episode 9 return date revealed at ABC

Today, ABC confirmed that come Thursday, January 17 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time, the medical drama is going to return with the second batch of episodes following the epic midseason finale. This is the one that unleashed a number of enormously-epic twists, whether it be the blackout in the hospital or Owen and Amelia being fully caught-up on the fact that Teddy is pregnant. These are the sorts of things that could define and change the rest of their lives and it’s going to be rather-fascinating to see precisely where things go moving forward. There are also some more lighthearted stories to come, including a possible love triangle with Meredith at the center of it, and then also some really painful ones including Catherine Avery’s cancer battle.
Perhaps the best thing about Grey’s Anatomy season 15 at the moment is simply that there are still so many more stories to tell! We’re not even at the halfway point of the show just yet and typically, there are some really fascinating episodes that air in January or February. Because it’s the middle of the season, that sometimes inspires the writers to do some experimental stuff and try out episodes that revolve almost entirely around a couple of different characters as opposed to the entire ensemble.
Alas, there are no further details regarding the return of the series at the moment — though one thing that is somewhat-fascinating is that ABC is going to be holding off on Station 19 until March, and is putting new episodes of A Million Little Things on in its place in an effort to wrap up that first season with some stronger ratings. It’s been in a fairly-challenging position as of late on Wednesday nights after a comedy block. We admire their commitment to try to help that show, though things could be a little bit complicated for fans of Station 19 given the way in which the first half of the season included. Also, couldn’t this mess up the timeline between Station 19 and Grey’s Anatomy unless there aren’t any further crossovers planned in the reasonably near future? We definitely think that this is, at the very least, something to wonder about.
