The Voice results: Did #VoiceSave get Kennedy Holmes, Reagan Strange, MaKenzie Thomas to finale?

The Voice 15

Tonight’s The Voice results were, beyond a shadow of a doubt, the most important ones of the entire season. This is where the top 8 becomes the top 4, and where the stage is ultimately set for the finale. There’s a lot of important stuff that could happen here, and even tilt the scales for certain contestants to be looked at as the favorite.

The first person to be put through to the finale tonight was none other than Kirk Jay, which shouldn’t really be a shock given the fact that he’s done so well on iTunes and country voters tend to come out big for some of their favorites.

Meanwhile, the second person put through was Chevel Shepherd, which means (even more) that the country vote is really coming out this season. She was strong last night, but there was no guarantee that she would make it all the way to the finale.

The third person in the finale is … Chris Kroeze? Seriously? Chris is a decent singer and all, but we really don’t think that there’s all that much of a chance of him winning the show or being a star after the fact. This is shocking.

#VoiceSave contenders – In the end, it turned out that MaKenzie Thomas, Reagan Strange, and Kennedy Holmes were in contention for the final save of the season. One of them will move on, and the other three will not. It’s a bummer that this is the group because all three of them are talented and at least two of them should have been through to the finale.

So who do you save between the three? We do think that Kennedy has the most potential outside the show and with that in mind, we were pulling for her to move forward. Yet, we do also think that MaKenzie is the best overall singer and had the best performance on Monday night. If you’re basing it on that, you can easily make the argument to save her.

The final result

Kennedy moves forward to the finale! We’re incredibly happy for her given that she deserves this honor, but we do still think that it’s a bummer MaKenzie didn’t get to move forward, as well. Is she one of the best singers to not make it to the finale?
