Blue Bloods season 9 episode 11 spoilers: Danny, Jamie’s stories in ‘Disrupted’

Blue Bloods season 9

Blue Bloods may be done on CBS for the year, but we do at least know now the official CBS return date: Friday, January 4. The producers aren’t making you wait too long in order to see what’s coming up next!

Over the course of this upcoming episode, you’re of course going to get a chance to see some big storylines for several of the show’s most-important characters, but what may surprise you is how personal some of them are. For example, Anthony’s family is going to have a key role in what’s coming up for Erin, and Danny’s son Sean will actually play a big part in what may, at least on the surface, be one of the more comedic plots that we’ve seen for him in a while.

For some more news as to what’s coming, we suggest that you check out the full Blue Bloods season 9 episode 11 synopsis below:

“Disrupted” – Frank questions whether a run-in with community activists was an accident or a setup. Also, Jamie strives to rely less on Frank’s input to makes decisions, Erin helps Anthony protect his daughter and ex-wife from a dangerous psychiatric patient, and Danny and his neighbor size each other up when they learn their kids are dating, on BLUE BLOODS, Friday, Jan. 4 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

On the surface, this episode feels like one that could prove to be memorable — there’s a lot that’s going on here, and we think that the stories for Frank and Jamie in particular are ones that could have some lasting professional impact. For Frank, figuring things out with the community activists is important mostly in that it could heavily influence some of what’s happening when it comes to his role with the community in the future. Meanwhile, with Jamie there’s a different sort of challenge here in that he wants to be able to prove himself. Yet, it’s also undeniable that it is really helpful to have the approval of his father on things, especially when Frank is the person running the show and is so respected. He wants to emerge from his father’s shadow but at the same time, it’s a really difficult line that he is trying to walk here. He shouldn’t want his own legacy to be a particularly problematic one, so he will have to weigh some of what he ultimately wants here.
