The Ranch season 4 premiere date hopes for Ashton Kutcher, cast
Let’s start things off, though, by issuing a reminder that it does seem as though a season 4 for the series on Netflix is happening. This is something that was first announced a little while ago and it does feel like the service, despite all of the behind-the-scenes stuff that has gone on with this show, is still fairly committed to continuing it. This is a show that does give them the best more or less of both worlds — they get here traditional sitcom fans while also providing some material that is a little bit edgier. This is a show where people talk in a way that’s probably indicative of how they would in real life, and we think that some of these characters are just relatable in general.
In looking towards specific premiere dates now, we don’t think that the folks over at Netflix are going to be that eager to hurry anything along at the moment. They have a good chunk of episodes for viewers to be able to enjoy now, so we feel like summer 2019 is probably the earliest that we could see the next batch of episodes out there. Why hurry when you don’t need to? The summer and the holiday season are ultimately great spots in order to launch new episodes of this show, mostly due to the fact that these are times in which there is a little less in the way of scripted comedy programming out there — especially sitcoms. This show helps to fill the void.
Ideally, we think that The Ranch is one of those shows that can go on however long that the cast wants it to, mostly because we have people here who are immensely talented and capable of taking on a fairly wide array of material. Also, it’s not exactly like the life of Colt is suddenly going to stop being interesting — he’s building a family and trying to figure out a future and we think there’s a chance for a lot of captivating storytelling that comes as a result of this. The future of this show is probably just going to come down to two different things: The viewership being there behind the scenes (Netflix does not often release ratings information to the public) and also the cast continuing to want to take part in the project. Given that this seems to be a fairly-fun job, we hope that they have no interest in leaving at present.
