Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 13 preview: Everyone targets … everyone?

Next week, Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 13 is beyond essential to establishing the future trajectory of this season. This is the final episode before the finale and with that in mind, the stakes are higher than ever. Every castaway out there should want to make it to finale night given that it’s such a cool opportunity to be spotlighted in that way. Of course, it’s also an opportunity to win a million bucks.

Yet, we don’t want to get too far ahead of ourselves here since there are some things that are going to transpire along the way here. episode 13 has the potential to deliver some fantastic entertainment and also another shocking vote-out in the closing minutes. What’s also interesting entering it is that now that Christian has played his immunity idol, that does reset the field in its own unique way — there may be another immunity idol back out there that can be found, and that obviously could reshape the game in a big way.

The preview for the next new episode strongly indicated that at the center of the story is going to be more scrambling and people trying to figure out some of the other people they want gone. For example, Alison seems pretty set at this point on trying to get Nick out of the game, while Christian is almost certainly going to be a target. He’s clearly the most vulnerable now given that Davie and Angelina are really the only two that are moderately on his side in that they both voted to keep him around. The biggest thing that he has going for him is that he’s clearly capable of winning immunity challenges and finding idols … and he’s certainly going to need another one at this point.

The best thing about this season right now is that there aren’t too many bad players. Sure, you do have people who are a little over-aggressive and sometimes do things before they have to, but none of these people out there are completely clueless about the game. They understand what it is and are trying to do everything that they can in order to make it to the end. The problem is that only three of them will.
