There is a lot to love about Legends of Tomorrow season 4 episode 9 — and of course, it does start with the fall finale’s title. (Doesn’t it often with this show?) The upcoming installment carries with it the title of “Legends of To-Meow-Meow,” and we’re going to get a chance to see here hopefully the culmination of much of the story that we’ve been seeing so far. For John Constantine, this could also end up being one of his biggest installments to date.

One of the things that we’ve seen almost-constantly with Constantine in the Arrowverse is that he’s somewhat of a rebel. He creates his own rules and he isn’t always super-keen to go along with others, and we’ve got a feeling that this is going to be a key component in what happens here. It’s going to be entertaining for us as someone watching from the outside, but probably not so much for the characters who actually have to deal with some of what’s happening here.
Below, CarterMatt offers up the full Legends of Tomorrow season 4 episode 9 synopsis with some additional information on what’s ahead:
IT’S THE RIGHT THING TO DO – After Constantine (Matt Ryan) breaks the cardinal Legend rule, you can’t change the past, he, along with Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Zari (Tala Ashe) try to deal with the ramifications without telling the rest of the Legends. Even though Zari encourages them to just fix the problem, Constantine and Charlie are determined to find another way, but only continue to make things worse. Caity Lotz, Brandon Routh, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Ramona Young and Jes Macallan also star. Ben Bray directed the episode written by James Eagan & Ray Utarnachitt (#408). Original airdate 12/10/2018.
We do think that there is going to be a lot of fun in this episode mixed in some of the serious stuff, mostly because of the title and also some of the teases that are out there about this episode already. We do think that there is potential for there to be a lot of really entertaining stuff but, beyond that, hopefully a really epic tease for what’s coming down the road. The saddest thing about what’s happening in the new year is that Legends of Tomorrow is going to be on hiatus for a big chunk of the new year with Black Lightning moving to its Monday-night timeslot.
