Legacies episode 7 is going to air on December 13, and all signs point towards this being very much an important hour of television. After all, we’re talking here about the midseason finale! This is a chance to culminate the first batch of episodes that we’ve had a chance to see, ones that include a number of different supernatural events in between monsters and the mystery of Landon Kirby. That’s still a picture that is not altogether clear.

Basically, the midseason finale is a chance to convince viewers to stick around for the second half of the season — this is where you have to pull off all of the different stops to make sure that everyone is committed to watch moving forward. There is going to be a new creature arriving at the school in this episode, which signals to us that this episode is going to be trying its best in order to ensure that much of what you’ve liked about the show so far is featured here.
Below, CarterMatt has the Legacies episode 7 synopsis with some other information all about what’s coming up next:
REMEMBRANCE DAY – As Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) hit the books to learn more about the latest creature to arrive to the school, things take a dark and twisted turn leaving her to confront one of her darkest fears. Meanwhile, Alaric (Matthew Davis) attempts to help Rafael (Peyton Alex Smith) cope after his past comes back to haunt him. Quincy Fouse also stars. Angela Gomes directed the episode written by Julie Plec (#107). Original airdate 12/13/2018.
Given that Julie Plec herself is the writer for this episode, we do think that this says a lot when it comes to the overall importance of this episode as a whole. We do want there to be some evolution when it comes to Hope, Lizzie, and some other characters, but beyond all of that, we’re also hoping that there is going to be a chance to see some sort of larger threat. The show has taken its time as of late really establishing what the overall narrative is for the series; now, we’re ready to start building things up in order to see a little bit more of where we could be going with all of this by the time the finale rolls around. (Legacies is not doing a 22-episode season, so with that in mind, the finale could be here a little bit earlier than you’d first assume.)
