At the center of this particular case is going to be trying to piece together information from the past and solving a problem that has long been buried. Because one of the main people involved in this new case has been behind bars, it’s been rather difficult for the NCIS team to actually assemble the right answers. This is what this episode is going to be looking to resolve. Some agents will be assigned to tail their new target, hoping to acquire some sort of information so that this case can be officially nipped in the bud once and for all. It’s certainly a valuable thing to do and we’re beyond happy to see that the series is moving its way now back in that direction.
As for how far the team is willing to go in order to get some of their answers, that feels like one of the big questions that “Tailing Angie” looks to resolve. We’re hoping that we’re going to have a good chance in this episode to better understand the various ins and outs of this case, whether it be why their newly-released target is so important and why resolution for this specific case is important. While we’ve certainly seen that it is with many others over the years, this episode should offer up a good opportunity to shine a spotlight on everything that’s been going on.
By the end of this episode, we’re confident that we’ll have a little bit more closure, mostly because that is the way of things with this show. They take on one case, resolve it, and occasionally have a few funny moments along the way. Then, they press forward and try to deal with whatever else lies around the bend. There is another big episode that is coming on the other side of Tuesday night, and it is a case entitled “What Child Is This?” that will revolve around, at least in part, a baby that the team has a rather-hard time trying to identify.
