STAR season 3 episode 9 (fall finale) spoilers: Is a cliffhanger coming?

What’s coming up on STAR season 3 episode 9? For starters, we really should go ahead and remind you that this is the fall finale! This is the time in which almost anything can happen, which is of course precisely what the writers want. They like having this opportunity to think about what some of the biggest, boldest surprises could possibly be that will shock the majority of fans out there. This is an exciting proposition and with that, it’s hopefully something that they deliver on. Last season, we definitely saw the show deliver something that had our hair standing on our end, and we definitely know because of this that they are more than capable of pulling it off all over again.

So what can you expect? Well, we’re going to have a chance to see a music festival, massive legal trouble, and then also a good bit of revenge as well. We like crazy stories where there are opportunities left and right for all sorts of craziness and with that in mind, we certainly hope that this story delivers.

Carlotta does what she can to make the Rhythm and Bells Festival a success. However, challenges arise when Star ends up in a legal bind, Alex makes a major career move, Simone is hiding a secret and Cassie gets out of jail seeking revenge. Meanwhile, Derek and Ruby volunteer at the shelter, where Ruby comes face-to-face with the man who attacked her. Then, tempers flare as Carlotta and Cassie’s father, Calvin (guest star Ben Vereen), shows up unexpectedly in the all-new “Zion” fall finale episode of STAR airing Wednesday, Dec. 5 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. So what should we expect by the end of this episode? Let’s just say that there are probably going to be some enormous cliffhangers, but we do hope that along the way, you get a chance to see something that is raw and vulnerable for some of these people. Also, of course, music. STAR has a challenge in that it has to combine perhaps more elements into a single package than almost any other series out there, but when it manages to put all of them together, we do think that pulls them off in a way that is tremendously satisfying and rewarding.

On the other side of this finale, alas, it’s possible that we could be waiting a rather long time for what’s next. We just have to go ahead and be a little prepared for that.
