The X Factor UK final: Suggestions for Dalton Harris, Scarlett Lee, Anthony Russell

Dalton Harris – To date this season, we’ve seen that Dalton has a real knack for being able to reel people in with his talent and ability to relate to some of his songs. This should be what he emphasizes more than anything — his story and the love of performing and pleasing his fans. We would suggest that he does one uptempo song to mix things up a little, but also then find another song that showcases his spectacular runs and vocal range.
Scarlett Lee – She doesn’t have a great chance of winning, if some of the recent results are any indicator. What she should probably focus on, given that her winner odds are where they are, is just trying to establish herself as an artist and really accent her personality. Try to sell herself as someone to watch and follow after the show more so than just trying to win this show. She should pick songs that she enjoys singing and really don’t enter with any expectations. That is, sometimes, when people actually perform their best overall!
Anthony Russell – With Anthony, we do think that he should take advantage of an opportunity to get a little more personal and vulnerable — it’s been a while since he really let anyone into his world and adequately showed just what he is about at his core. Beyond that, though, he really doesn’t have to change all that much given that what he’s doing is obviously working for him and viewers are liking it. He’s made it further than we imagined he would at times, but there’s something obviously about his personality and style that people really like. He is a major threat to win, largely because we don’t really know what the vote totals are like for him at present.
Beyond the solo performances…
There will be duets presumably and some opportunities to see these contestant shine on the largest stage in front of the biggest crowd to date! This is not the same sort of thing as giving a live concert, but we do think it’s going to feel more like that than any other environment they’ve been a part of so far.
