Unfortunately, there is no new episode of the show airing tonight, as we are in the final hiatus of the year … at least before the big one that is coming after the final two episodes. The first of those two installments is set to come on CBS in seven days’ time, and there is a lot of good stuff that we’re expecting to see throughout both it and the one that is coming up after the fact. The December 11 episode is the last before the holidays and while CBS doesn’t really do the whole “winter / fall finale” thing with their promotion, we definitely do think it could be described in that way. It is entitled “Tick Tock,” which seems to be a pretty clear reference to something the Angel of Death said earlier this season when talking about Pride’s mortality. He may not have all that much time left and we’re gearing up now to a point where he needs to embrace just about everything that the world is throwing at him … regardless of whether or not the Angel is something to be treated seriously. Personally, we’re not altogether sure that it can be just given the sole fact that this is not a show known to be altogether supernatural.
Just in case you haven’t seen it already, CarterMatt has for you the full synopsis for “Tick Tock” below:
“Tick Tock” – While on a sunrise jog, Pride is grabbed by two masked men who order him to complete a series of tasks in order to save Wade and his father, Cassius Pride (Stacy Keach), who are being held captive, on NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, Tuesday, Dec. 11 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Sound interesting/ Well, we imagine that there are a number of notable stories still coming on the second half of the season and we’re excited to dive into those. More than likely there will be some NCIS: New Orleans episodes coming in January / February, though CBS does have a tendency to mix around new episodes with repeats. Consider it a big part of how they conduct their business.
