The Voice iTunes results: Kymberli Joye, Kennedy Holmes big winners

The Voice 15

Leading up to tonight’s results show The Voicewe are here with some of the latest iTunes results! the goal here is fairly simple, and that is just finding a way to deliver some predictions based on some of the artists’ individual performances. Note, of course, that iTunes isn’t the one thing that defines if a contestant is safe or not. Yet, we do tend to think that it does serve as a pretty solid indicator for at least the top few artists on the chart.

Let’s kick things off here with the artists who are likely safe moving into tonight. Based on when we are checking the iTunes results (which is around 8:30 a.m. Pacific time Tuesday morning), both Kymberli Joye and Kennedy Holmes look to be on their way to moving on for at least one week. They’re the only artists currently in the top ten and that makes them super-safe bets. With her “Space Cowboy” at #15 at the moment, we’re fairly confident that Chevel Shepherd will find a way to move forward, as well.

Moving forward, let’s also talk about the artists who are potentially safe — otherwise known as the performers who did good enough on the iTunes charts to make us reasonably comfortable — though not 100% confident. We’re looking here at MaKenzie Thomas, Chris Kroeze, and Kirk Jay. These three all have spots in the top 30 on the chart and there’s enough distance with them and the rest of the pack to make us think that they will be just fine.

Finally, there’s then everyone else including Sarah Grace, Reagan Strange, Lynnea Moorer, Dave Fenley, and DeAndre Nico. All five of these artists are in danger based on where things are at the moment on the show. Sarah and Reagan at least made it into the top 100, while the other three fell outside of that with their performances. Sarah and Reagan were barely in the top 100, so we don’t feel confident enough with their performances to think that they will for sure avoid needing the #VoiceSave. We do think Reagan’s past performances will help her, but that’s really the only indicator of the public vote that we’ve got at present.

Of course, come back tomorrow, as we’re going to offer up some more thoughts and feedback on the results show — plus some more feedback on it in video form, as well!
