Legends of Tomorrow season 4 episode 7 preview: Constantine’s past re-emerges

Legends of TomorrowWant to know some of what’s coming on Legends of Tomorrow season 4 episode 7 next week? For starters, we love the title here in “Hell No, Dolly.” It’s a fun reference, but this could also be a fun, engaging story that gives us more of a sense as to who John Constantine is at this point in his life. It could actually be one of the best episodes that we’ve seen for Matt Ryan over the course of the year.

Below, CarterMatt has for you the full Legends of Tomorrow season 4 episode 7 synopsis with some additional news as to what is coming up:

RIPPLE EFFECT – With Rory (Dominic Purcell) and Ava (Jes Macallan) at odds, Sara (Caity Lotz) tries to come up with a way for them to get along, but all is put on hold when a new magical creature attacks the Legends. Constantine (Matt Ryan) is forced to confront his tragic past but it could have devastating consequences for the rest of the team. Meanwhile, Mona (Ramona Young) has a crush on someone she works with and gets some advice from Nate (Nick Zano). Brandon Routh, Tala Ashe, Maisie Richardson- Sellers also star. April Mullen directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree & Morgan Faust wrote the episode (#407). Original airdate 12/3/2018.

Hopefully, this episode, in the midst of all of the fun and the crazy headlines, actually does give us a chance to actually see some other personal and meaningful long-term stuff. If there is one thing that this show is probably missing at the moment, it is probably a consistent sense of high stakes beyond just some of the stories of the week. We get that this show doesn’t always need a central villain, but sometimes it could be highlighted a little bit more with this particular show.

The bad news is that Legends of Tomorrow is not going to be a part of the Elseworlds crossover airing on The CW in early December. However, there will be a new episode of the show airing the week of the big crossover event. This is a fun story that probably inspired the writers to really go for broke and do some fun things. It’s going to be hard for them to get headlines opposite the crossover but one way or another, the series will probably figure some things out.
