Supergirl season 4 episode 8 preview: ‘Bunker Hill,’ last before crossover

Supergirl season 4 episode 3

What’s coming up on Supergirl season 4 episode 8 could be content that alters almost the entire course of the story. “Bunker Hill” is a critical episode, one that could have many different twists and turns throughout. Its the last regular episode of the series this year; the Elseworlds crossover is going to be taking place after the fact, but there may be so many differences there that it doesn’t even feel altogether like the same show.

If you want some news as to what is going to make “Bunker Hill” so important, we suggest that you take a look at the Supergirl season 4 episode 8 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below:

KEVIN SMITH DIRECTS; NIA BEGINS TO EMBRACE HER POWERS – Nia (Nicole Maines) has a powerful dream about Agent Liberty (Sam Witwer) but refuses to look at it as a prophetic dream and pushes it aside. After noticing something is bothering Nia, Kara (Melissa Benoist) enlists Brainy’s (Jesse Rath) help, and the two try to persuade Nia to embrace her destiny. Meanwhile, Manchester Black (guest star David Ajala) pays Ben Lockwood a menacing visit. Kevin Smith directed the episode written by Rob Wright & Eric Carrasco (#408). Original airdate 12/2/2018.

So what do we think is going to be coming up beyond what’s written in words here? For Nia Nal, we’re really going to be seeing the beginning of her journey as Dreamer here — let’s just say that there is a really good reason why she had a dream about Agent Liberty. We’re certainly interested in seeing what sort of costume she eventually gets (that hasn’t been released yet) and also how she fits in with the Supergirl team as a whole. We do also of course wonder just how many heroes on the good side of things Supergirl needs before it starts to feel like the villains almost stand no chance. (What is so interesting about this season is that Ben Lockwood isn’t necessarily unbeatable, but the problem is that his threat is almost all ideological. Arresting him or killing him will ony galvanize the people around him further to become even more dangerous as a result.

Whatever sort of cliffhanger that the Supergirl team wants to establish, they are almost certainly going to do so here. We don’t imagine that they are going to push off too much at all for Elseworlds when there is other story to touch on then.
