Jersey Shore star Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi expecting another baby!
In a new post on Instagram (see below), the Jersey Shore Family Vacation star officially confirmed that she and her husband Jionni LaValle are expecting their third baby! The photo actually shows Snooki and Jionni’s other two kids in Lorenzo and Giovanna making the announcement to all of her social-media followers.
This news for Snooki comes on the heels of a recent run of Jersey Shore Family Vacation episodes, ones that also included her pregnant co-star Deena Cortese. This series is not anywhere near what it once was, when so many of the cast members were single people looking to party and have a great time at the Shore. Of the nine people who have been designated as cast members at some point during the show’s run, Sammi Giancola, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Vinny Guadagnino, and Angelina Pivarnick are the only ones who are either not parents or expecting a baby. (Ronnie Magro welcomed his first child earlier this year.)
It’s easy to celebrate this news for Snooki, especially since it’s felt like she was open to having more babies. The unfortunate thing is that with no more Jersey Shore set on the immediate horizon, social media may be the only source of news for it. There has not been any announcement on a season 3 of Family Vacation, and with The Situation entering prison soon and with there being so many new parents, it may make a good bit of sense for everyone to take a little bit of a break for the time being. Snooki can enjoy her life as a mom amidst some of the many other things that she does (she’s certainly more than just a TV star at this point), and hopefully there are going to be some more opportunities to see her on some shows coming up in the future even if it is not the main MTV franchise.
For now, I wanna send all the congratulations in the world to Snooki and Jionni! The holidays are a fun time to celebrate expecting a new baby; there are a lot of fun things around you at just about every turn and you can also reflect back while also looking ahead to what should be a really-exciting 2019.
