Is MacGyver new tonight on CBS? New season 3 episode 9 promo

For everyone wondering as to whether or not MacGyver is new tonight on CBS, we come bearing some rather-bad news. You’re going to have to wait a little while longer for the latest exploits of Lucas Till and the rest of the cast, as season 3 episode 9 is going to air in one week’s time.

While you do wait for this upcoming episode, entitled “Specimen 234 + PAPR + Outbreak,” to air, we do have a new video as to precisely what you can expect to see coming up! The promo below offers up a picture of one of the more dangerous episodes of the season for Angus and company — and understandably so. After all, this story will feature many of the characters making a beeline for the CDC in an effort to stop an airborne virus that could end up threatening just about the entire world.

While we’ve seen many a death-defying mission on MacGyver in the past, it does certainly feel as though this one is a little bit different for a couple of different reasons. For starters, this is a problem that, once it’s fully unleashed, it will be almost impossible to stop. Diseases spread so quickly that the Phoenix Foundation is going to need more than just a handful of agents to curtain the issue. Beyond just that, this case will require a little bit of different thinking in order to solve. It’s a little bit more chemical than some other missions that we’ve seen, though we think that strategy is probably about as important on some of the same level that we’ve had a chance to see in the past.

For those of you who want humor…

Rest assured that there’s going to be plenty of it over the course of the hour, especially when it comes to Bozer commenting that the team can never just arrive at someone else’s house in the normal way. They are always either trying to break in or sneak in or find some other way to get to the bottom of the given issue. This probably isn’t the only funny part of the episode, but it’s at least what this promo shows off.

For those of you who are big Jack Dalton fans, you can also rejoice here in the simple fact that the character is even appearing, given the fact that Jack was not really a part of this past installment.
