Outlander season 4: Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe, cast share Thanksgiving wishes

Outlander

It is Thanksgiving, and of course with that there are many things to be thankful for. Take, for example, we’re thankful to all of you for checking out our coverage throughout the year! It’s wonderful to be able to discuss Outlander and many other shows here on a regular basis.

In this article, we are here to share some of what the show’s own cast is saying about the Thanksgiving holiday, as well! Below, you can see Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe, Richard Rankin, Sophie Skelton, and John Bell all share some of their best wishes for the holiday. Given that some of these characters are in America, and more could be joining them before long, there is more connectivity between the show and Thanksgiving now than there was in the past. It’s something that Claire herself has probably celebrated many times in the present with Brianna and also Frank, when he was alive. Maybe she’ll bring some of that tradition back with her to America in the past. (We do wonder sometimes how these characters celebrate holidays and spend their time when we’re not seeing them in scenes.)

The fourth season of Outlander is in the middle of airing, and there are certainly some more episodes coming up in the future, as well. The next new one is airing on Sunday night, and over that one you’re going to have a chance to see Jamie and Claire continue to start off their new life at Fraser’s Ridge together. Expect to see them understanding some of the challenges that await them in the area better than ever. Yet, we like to think that they are up for any obstacle. After all that they’ve been through already, is there really anything else out there that could measure up to some of it? We wonder. They do have a lot to be thankful for in that they have each other — though they don’t really know the path that they are on historically. This is where Brianna and Roger could come into play down the road, but we think that the producers of the show are going to take a little bit of time telling some of those stories. Why hurry that along?

Happy Thanksgiving everyone — from our CarterMatt family to yours.
