Bull season 3 spoilers: Is Jill Flint returning as Diana Lindsay?

In a new post on Twitter, series star Michael Weatherly posted a new image (see below) of himself alongside Jill Flint, who has played this character on a number of occasions over the years. One of the best things about this character isn’t just that she has some affection for Dr. Bull; it’s that she challenges him and is one of the few people who can defeat him in court. He has to bring her A-game whenever he is squaring off with her and if he doesn’t, he ultimately has to prepare to lose. One of the reasons he admires her is because of the challenge that she presents, but in turn, we also do think that this is one of the reasons why she admires him. She probably does appreciate the fact that Bull brings out the very best in her.
Do we foresee the two becoming more than just an on-again, off-again couple, though? This is where things get a little more challenging — they are both so committed to what they do professionally that it is almost impossible for them to find the space for almost anything else. The only way that they are going to be able to pull something a little bit greater off here is if they start to put stock in relationships as something that really matters. Maybe Bull does that a little bit more now after going through what he did with his heart attack; yet, he also does still seem to hold a candle for Isabella, and that is something that he will have to figure out over time. She’s married now and with that, it doesn’t seem like she is available to him.
Unfortunately, we’re going to be waiting for a while now to see just what is coming up next on Bull, including any future appearance from Diana Lindsay. The series is going to be on a short hiatus until next month, when we’re hoping that there will be a chance to ring in the holidays with Dr. Bull — the next installment is airing on December 3, and the title for that one (ominous as it may be) is “Separation.” There is at least one more installment coming up beyond it.
