The first thing that we should know about the Patton Project is that they are extremists. they are a small, dangerous group within the military who advocate for dangerous uses of excessive force on enemies. They are the sort of people who cause chaos and don’t really care what the consequences are. They’re the sort of people who give everyday heroes a bad name and the concern over what they could be doing next is rather palpable.
This is why, at least over the course of this episode, there will be a sense of urgency given that the NCIS: Los Angeles team has been able to potentially track down a member of the project via a meeting that is happening in Venice. One of the biggest problems that has come along with this group has been simply trying to locate them on some level. These are not people who are altogether interested in being found and if they are, odds are they will not react well. The NCIS: Los Angeles team is going to need catch them by surprise before figuring out precisely what their next move will be.
For those of you who love excitement, the good news here is that we’re gearing up for one of the boldest episodes of the entire season. While there’s not much revealed as far as the more personal stories for our team, our hope is that we’ll get a better sense as to what’s happening with Callen and Anna, or at least some more planning when it comes to the Deeks – Kensi wedding. Of course, we do also want to see Sam start to figure out more of what he wants out of his life, as it does feel as though there is a relative amount of uncertainty going on with that as of late. Remember, Goldberg’s character gave him an offer if he ever wants to leave the team and go out on his own — it’s just up to him if that is something that he wants.
