Dynasty season 2 episode 7 return date: Life after Thanksgiving

Dynasty

Want to know the Dynasty season 2 episode 7 return date on The CW? If you come looking for some of that information, we’ve got it within!

As many of you out there may be aware of at present, next week is Black Friday. What that effectively means is that there aren’t many TV shows that are going to be putting new episodes on the air! Nobody really wants that competition; instead, they would much prefer to take their time and wait to put episodes on the air when there are actually going to be people around in order to watch them. That seems to be what is happening here with Dynasty, a series that certainly does need whatever sort of ratings help that it can get. Putting it on next week when people are off doing other things would be akin to a nail in its coffin, so in waiting, The CW is giving it a better chance.

Not only that, but when the series does return on November 30 you will get an episode that, appropriately, seems to be about unpacking some of the Thanksgiving aftermath. Many characters are going to be looking towards some new horizons as a result of this, but you do certainly have to wonder whether or not these changes are going to end up being even remotely close to what they expected that it would be ahead of time.

Below, CarterMatt has the Dynasty season 2 episode 7 synopsis, which offers some more information when it comes to what lies ahead:

NEW BEGINNINGS — In the wake of a traumatic yet therapeutic Thanksgiving, the Carringtons are ready to embrace a fresh start. As Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) dives into a new business endeavor, she inadvertently collides with Culhane’s (Robert Christopher Riley) secret life. Meanwhile, Sam (Rafael de la Fuente) employs Kirby’s (Maddison Brown) help as he embarks on a new personal venture, and as Cristal (Ana Brenda Contreras) celebrates the next step of her relationship with Blake (Grant Show), Alexis (Nicollette Sheridan) does her best to drive a wedge between them. Alan Dale and James Mackay also star. Jenna Richman wrote the episode, which was directed by Michael Allowitz (#207).

The CW does give you a small tease of what’s coming in this episode below, but remember the operative word here: Small. It’s clear that they are not super-interested in dolling out a ton of details as to what’s ahead. There are clearly some things that they want to keep under wraps for as long as possible, which we do understand from the vantage point that it is nice sometimes to have some cards to play down the road. For a show like this, that’s especially critical. It relies on the surprises.
