So what kind of operation are we going to see here? Basically, someone is getting released from prison, and with that, the team can start tailing them for another crime that they may have committed. With that in mind, this episode could have a fairly-humorous exchange in that we see someone get arrested almost immediately after being released from jail for something different. Given the title for the hour, Angie is most-likely the name of the person that they are following. This installment is coming your way on December 4; while you may have to wait a while for it, hopefully it’s going to be action-packed and interesting enough to keep your attention every single step of the way.
Below, take a look at the NCIS season 16 episode 9 synopsis with some other information as to what’s coming up in this hour:
“Tailing Angie” – When the lead suspect of an unsolved and high-profile robbery case is released from prison, the NCIS team resumes their investigation with an undercover stakeout, on NCIS, Tuesday, Dec. 4 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Getting to see NCIS characters on a stakeout is always fun, mostly due to the fact that you have an opportunity here to see a lot of characters biding their time with stories of their past. It can somewhat be a ridiculous exchange, but a lot of this does come with the territory of the specific work that they are tasked to do. We just hope that they find themselves some ways to entertain themselves while they wait for the target to make a move.
Of course, the idea of an undercover stakeout makes this all the more entertaining. Not only are you having people working in a super-secret nature in order to ensure they get information, they may be someone other than themselves. We’re not sure that undercover work is the forte of every single NCIS operative on the team, but we have seen some fun moments with this in the past on this show, most recently with Bishop and Torres pretending to be a couple.
Don’t forget we will have the looming mystery of why the CIA is investigating Vance and Sloane after their abduction earlier this season and we hope to have some more answers on that before we head into the inevitable holiday hiatus.
