The Voice season 15 results: The top 13 officially revealed!

The Voice 15Tonight, The Voice season 15 brought you the first live results show of the season, and in that the coaches had the challenge of basically dividing their teams up in half. Following that, the next order of business became naming the comeback artist who is also going to make their way into the competition from here.

As this episode goes on tonight, we’re going to refresh this article with more updates on some of the people who made it through to the top 13.

Team Blake – Chris Kroeze, Dave Fenley, and Kirk Jay are all moving forward, and that’s not shocking given a) the genre connections and b) their performances last night. they were the best trio on Blake’s team and we think that with Kirk in general, there’s a reasonably good chance that he could go really far and win the show. (Blake was ultimately the one who chose Dave after the audience put through the other two.)

Team Adam – Reagan Strange was a somewhat surprising choice to move forward, but seeing DeAndre Nico was no shock. Bringing forward Tyke James was a move by Adam seemed to be based mostly on potential more so than anything. Adam knows the sort of artist he could be moving forward this season.

Team Jennifer – We’re a little shocked about Franc West going home, but MaKenzie Thomas is incredibly talented and it made a lot of sense that Kennedy Holmes, possibly the favorite to win this whole season, ended up moving forward to the next phase. Meanwhile, Jennifer ended up picking SandyRedd to advance, which does make some sense after her “No More Drama” cover.

Team Kelly – How did Kymberli Joye need Kelly’s help to go through? This felt more like a lock. Meanwhile, Chevel Shepherd seemed to be the vote of most of the country fans out there while Sarah Grace’s appearance came about mostly on the strength of a subtle but lovely performance.

Ultimately, here’s your top 12 on The Voice moving forward — a lineup that has a wide array of different singers, is heavy on country, but does still have some unpredictability to it. While we do think that Kennedy is the favorite right now, there’s still so much time for that to change in the end.

Also, Lynnea Moorer is officially the comeback artist, meaning that she gets to compete in the live shows!
