Arrow season 7 episode 6 preview: Will Laurel actually help Oliver?

Arrow

When Arrow season 7 episode 6 airs on The CW in one week’s time, we could see both desperate times and desperate measures. After all, that’s what happens when you have Diaz still out there and there’s danger around almost every single corner. That’s why, in this episode, you could see Felicity doing what she can to get help, even if it means going to surprising places in order to get it. Meanwhile, we’re also going to be seeing Laurel herself take on an interesting role to lend Oliver a helping hand. Will she actually be able to turn the tide for him as a District Attorney? That’s something that we hope to find out over the course of the upcoming hour.

If you do want some more insight as to what’s coming, we suggest that you take a look at the Arrow season 7 episode 6 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below:

LAUREL STEPS IN TO HELP OLIVER – Slabside becomes even more dangerous after a guard is murdered and everyone is a suspect. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) enlists help from a surprising source in her pursuit of Diaz (Kirk Acevedo), and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) flexes her muscles as the District Attorney. Kristin Windell directed the episode written by Sarah Tarkhoff & Tonya Kong (#706). Original airdate 11/19/2018.

Through most of the first part of this season, it feels like one of the major theme is simply regrouping. For some, that means just trying to find a way to live until the next day. Meanwhile, for others that means trying to target Diaz and stop him from causing any more chaos before it’s too late. Eventually, we do expect this theme to shift over and the story to be more about unity. Maybe it won’t happen until later on this season, but we have a hard time envisioning that everyone is going to be separated from one another forever.

Let’s stop in for a moment and imagine some sort of big reunion, one where Team Arrow is actually back working together as they once were. What would that look like? It could be a sign of the group’s overall sense of maturity and just how far they’ve come from the people they once were back during their earlier days all together. Some of these characters really should have realized a while back that saving the city is infinitely more important than any sort of disagreement that they had in the past. The greater good is really the only thing that will stop Star City from going to hell; while the flash-forwards suggest at the moment that even this may not stop it, the characters don’t know that. They gotta have at least some sort of optimism for what’s coming up down the line.
