Hawaii Five-0 season 9 episode 9 spoilers: Is there really a superhero?
Hawaii Five-0 season 9 episode 9 seems to be bringing something to the table that is a little random, but also a little funny — at least in theory. After all, we’re talking about the show venturing into the world of comic books! In some ways Steve, Danny, and the rest of Five-0 are heroes without costumes, but it is kinda fun for the series to do an episode featuring heroes with costumes … which is probably going to also remind you that putting on a costume doesn’t actually work out anywhere near as well in real life.

“Mai ka po mai ka ‘oia’i’o” – A renowned urban vigilante is killed after making another citizen’s arrest, and Five-0 delves into the world of super heroes and comic books to find the killer. Also, Adam finally gets closer to finding out who killed his sister, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Nov. 30 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Admittedly, we’re mostly curious about the backstory for his vigilante more so than anything else. When you’ve got both the Five-0 Task Force and Thomas Magnum out there helping to solve crimes, what else do you really need to do? Is your work already done? It’s kind of easy to theorize that there isn’t anything else! Though, we also think that some vigilantes go out there and fight crime because it fills some need.
As for the Adam storyline, is this proof 100% that he didn’t kill his sister? We like to think so, but we’ve also on some level felt like he was never really guilty of the act in the first place. It just would be weird for the version of Adam we know to suddenly fall back into a life of crime after getting away from it for so long. It’s just not something that he inherently needs to do when he’s seen the other side, and also endured time in prison. It’s not in this character’s DNA to routinely self-destruct to the point of him ending up in jail again … even if he may be more self-destruction now than he usually is because of what happened with Kono.
