Blue Bloods season 9 episode 9 spoilers: What is Nicky’s boyfriend up to?

For those wanting to see Nicky Reagan-Boyle get a storyline outside of family dinner this season, Blue Bloods season 9 episode 9 will offer that.

This is an episode that carries with it the title of “Handcuffs” and as this story goes along, you’re going to get a chance to wonder precisely what Nicky’s boyfriend is up to — and also whether or not he is doing something to jeopardize their relationship. Can’t she just be happy? For such a young woman it feels like she’s constantly having to swim upstream with all of these different problems coming around and screwing up her life. It’s not an easy spot for someone like her to be in.

“Handcuffs” – When a video surfaces of cops being harassed by a group of people at a housing complex, Frank orders a raid to round up anyone with an outstanding warrant, against Garrett’s (Gregory Jbara) advice. Also, Danny is approached by a woman he put in jail who asks for his help keeping her brother out of trouble, and Nicky’s new boyfriend has ulterior motives, on BLUE BLOODS, Friday, Nov. 30 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

What’s somewhat-interesting about this synopsis is that it makes no mention of Erin or Jamie / Eddie stories, though those could be very much included in here at some point. The Frank storyline is actually one of the ones that intrigues us the most just because it’s possible that he could be making a mistake here. While outstanding warrants out on the street are not good for anyone, you also don’t want to run the risk of completely sparking all sorts of chaos and pandemonium, either. There has to be a way to conduct a raid that doesn’t have the same sort of sweeping complications.

On a side note, isn’t this a chance to get even more details about Garrett’s background, even if the entirety of this story isn’t about him? Much like we got some more information about Baker on this past episode, it would be nice to get some small updates on some other important people within Frank’s team. This season has already done that with Anthony.
