Grey’s Anatomy season 15 fall finale: Will Meredith, DeLuca get together?
To be specific, let’s talk about things here ‘ship-related — is it possible that this is when Meredith and DeLuca could actually get together in a real way?

At the start of the season, there was the moment with Meredith and DeLuca in bed together … but that was just a dream. The only tangible thing that’s happened was in the finale when the two kissed. It makes sense that something could happen here, given that there has been a sense of general awkwardness between the two and that often constitutes feelings. I like the idea of the two together as an almost-flip on things from Meredith and Derek early on in the series, but I also don’t know yet if it could last … but is it really intended to last? there’s nothing inherently wrong with the idea of Meredith never finding another permanent love interest. The situation has to be right and you can’t predict what that’s going to look like until you actually see on the two characters as a unit. Maybe it works better than you think that it will … or maybe it’s a total disaster.
Other than MerLuca, the only other possible Meredith ‘ship at the moment is the one between the character and Ortho God Link. Yet, that seems to be more the long-game ‘ship and it doesn’t feel like the writers are going to be pushing that all too soon at the moment.
What else is coming within the ‘ship world?
Well, it looks like this fall finale is going to detonate everything when it comes Teddy, Owen, and Amelia. Teddy seems primed in order to FINALLY tell the truth as to what’s going on with her baby, and whatever happens from there happens. It’s possible that Owen tries to be with Teddy out of responsibility for the baby, but it’s hard to imagine that Teddy wants it like this. She wants Owen if it’s Owen in a real, committed relationship with her … not something that comes out of a sense of responsibility.
Seeing Owen’s reaction to what happens here will be one of the primary orders of business. Beyond just that, the second one is getting a good sense as to how Amelia is going to be handling all of this. As you imagine, this is not a particularly easy thing for any person with feelings for someone else to take on.
