STAR season 3 episode 7 preview: Feds in the club + other problems
Next week, STAR season 3 episode 7 is going to feature things that feel almost routine to the show — and then also ones that are shocking.
Let’s start with the routine, based on the promo — there’s a great deal of in-fighting among some of the younger characters. Maybe some of this is a function of their actions (okay, so a lot of it is a product of their actions), and then another part of it is more of a function of these characters spending a great deal of time together. Both of these things in congruence can cause significant problems.
Yet, none of this may be the biggest problem facing any of these characters in the upcoming episode. Instead, we’d point towards the feds doing a fairly-strict investigation into a club. When you’ve got law enforcement involved in your business, there is a reasonably good chance that some bad things are going to happen as a result of that. It’s mostly a matter of time before things somehow gets even worse.

Gravity Media recruits social media influencer Chloe David (guest star Draya Michele) to attract more attention to Carlotta’s (Queen Latifah) festival, but Take 3’s plan to hijack attention to their album doesn’t go as planned. Cassie’s relationship with Xander (guest star Chad Michael Murray) gets more complicated and Star must face her fears in order to build her family with Jax. Meanwhile, Detective Montero puts Derek (Quincy Brown) in a dangerous position that could cost him everything in the all-new “Karma” episode of STAR airing Wednesday, November 14th on FOX.
Are there characters in actual danger within this episode? That depends how you define “danger.” It’s hard to fathom it through the lens of “oh, some of these characters are going to die.” Instead, you may have to examine it more from the vantage point of “some lives may never by the same.” That’s what happened when you get yourself mixed up within the world of celebrity and in some dangerous businesses with dangerous people. Most of these characters have now experienced some of what life is like at the top, but they’re also equally aware that one mistake, one bad comment can cause the house of cards to crumble and the follower count to drop.
