Dancing with the Stars 27 elimination: John Schneider, DeMarus Ware out

Tonight, Dancing with the Stars 27 offered up its first Double Elimination of the season; with that in mind, there was a chance for a BIG surprise. Also, there was a chance for a lot of people to be really angry in the event that Grocery Store Joe ended up going home at the end of the series.

So what ended up happening over the course of the episode tonight? We don’t want to beat around the bush too much here, so let’s just get to the results. First, Grocery Store Joe is safe. He’s not heading back to the store just yet, much to the surprise of both us and a number of viewers watching. Consider this yet another reminder that Bachelor Nation is just about as unstoppable force as you are going to find out there. They just have a knack, one way or another, of keeping their favorites.

As for who actually went home tonight, we have to bid a fond farewell, rather shockingly, to both John Schneider and also DeMarcus Ware. We’re somewhat shocked with one of these, but not anywhere near as much with the other.

For those who survived this episode, the good news at the moment is this: They all clearly have fairly-large audiences. You don’t end up making it this close to the end of the series otherwise.
