Chicago Med season 4 spoilers: Pretty Little Liars alum Ian Harding on board

In a new post on Twitter, series star Torrey DeVitto posted an image of herself alongside the former Pretty Little Liars star — there is no precise word as to who he is playing just yet, other than of course the fact that the character’s name is Phillip. We’re hoping that he can make his presence felt for more than just a single episode, but time will tell on that.
If we were to throw some of our own speculation out there into the ring, wouldn’t it be nice to see him come on board as a family member of Natalie’s? Given that they worked together on Pretty Little Liars, in our mind it’s almost a requirement that they find a way to do a little bit of work together. It’s almost like if there was a former Arrow cast member who popped over to this show — we’d want them to share some scenes with Colin Donnell.
Given the timing of this big reveal, we unfortunately don’t foresee Harding turning up at any point in the super-near future. Chicago Med is going to air a handful of episodes moving forward this fall, but could be on hiatus for most of the winter before coming back on the air a little on down the road. For one reason or another, this is the show that tends to get the shaft more so than any other at midseason. We’ll be lucky if we see this appearance at some point in the late winter.
