911 season 2 episode 9 return date: Hen’s full origin story
Alas, you’re going to be waiting for two more weeks in order to see what lies ahead for 911 and some of its characters, as there is no new episode next week. For the first time since the special Sunday premiere the show is taking a break, and it will be coming back for more starting on Monday, November 19. This episode could be even more important than most, given that it will offer up a deep, meaningful look inside the world of Aisha Hinds’ character of Hen — one of the series’ best. You’ll learn how she first started out, how she met Chimney and Athena, and potentially even what drove her to be the firefighter that she is today. It’s an opportunity for an extraordinary performance and, beyond that, a chance for us as a viewer to get some much-needed insight. Hopefully, it helps even more awards-season voters recognize her greatness.
Even though we gotta wait a little while longer for “Hen Begins,” signs make it seem like it will be worth it. Check out the synopsis below for more:

For those who are interested in some longer story beyond what’s listed in the synopsis here, know that 911 is getting rather close to the end of its fall run in general. The fall finale could end up airing on Fox come November 10, and after that, you may be forced to wait until the new year (or even the spring) to see some of what’s actually coming up next. Our sentiment, at least at the moment, is that Fox is preparing to roll this series out with a schedule that is reasonable close to what they are doing with Empire, another one of their largest hits that operates under a split-season model.
