Chicago Med season 4 episode 7 video: The latest on Will Halstead, Ray

We are certainly well aware that this is one of the more-polarizing stories that is out there within the One Chicago world, mostly because the idea of Will lying to Natalie about it for so long still is a head-scratcher. Maybe it’s just us, but it’s always felt like the two of them are on similar intellectual wavelengths. While she may not approve of the secret, it’s not as though he is doing this for shady reasons — though he is putting himself in unnecessary danger. We do think that it’s something that they would be able to work through … and it’s going to be a whole lot harder to do that after she learns about it going on for so long under her nose. These types of betrayals are hard to bounce back from.
The other thing to wonder, even more so than the events in the new 4×07 sneak peek below (via SpoilerTV), is the possible timing for when this secret gets out. If it comes out, for example, right before the wedding, is it the sort of thing that could derail it? We bring this up mostly because it feels as though Manstead are moving things along at a rather brisk timeline when it comes to planning the ceremony. They already had their bachelor and bachelorette parties, and on the other side of that there are only a handful of other traditions that need to be checked off, depending of course on who you are and how you go about the planning process. We do think that a Christmas wedding would be fun for Manstead, provided of course that it happens. (We’re still upset that the Ray stuff seemed to derail much of Will’s good time at the bachelor party in the first place.)
