Is Dancing with the Stars: Juniors new tonight on ABC? We definitely do understand wanting to see it continue.
Alas, that’s something that is not happening tonight, as the network is broadcasting instead a special all about Mickey Mouse. Rest assured, though, that Dancing with the Stars: Juniors will be back on the air soon enough to continue the season — after all, there are a number of young contestants still in the running. Honey Boo Boo was eliminated on this past episode, and we’re now at a point moving forward where there is more of a level playing field. With no offense to the former TLC star, it was pretty clear that she was one of the weakest performances in the running.
So when is the series coming back on the air? Think next week on November 11. The break this week is mostly just this: A break. This is a physical competition and we’re looking at a bunch of kids here on this show. Because of that, they can’t be trained or given the same workload as the majority of the adult contestants on the flagship show. We appreciate that the series is handling them a little bit different.
As for the favorite to win the whole series … it’s pretty clear at the moment that it is Mackenzie Ziegler. Yet, there is of course controversy around that given just how well-known of a dancer she already is in addition to some of what she’s doing in music. (With this being said, shouldn’t she be considered one of the biggest underdog stories of all time in the event that someone does actually beat her? We have to think so.)
