Poldark season 4 episode 6 video (PBS): What’s wrong with Elizabeth?

Poldark

Moving into Poldark season 4 episode 6 on PBS this weekend, Elizabeth Warleggan may be in the spotlight more so than she’s been this season. We have here, after all, a character who is starting to struggle under the weight of so many things — the future of her family, complicated relationships all around her, and beyond just that, a feud between Ross and George that does not appear to be going away in the near future.

Below, the promo for this episode gives you a small sense as to what’s going to be coming up across a number of different threads. Take, for example, Ross is going to be in major trouble in Parliament, and back in Cornwall Drake is going to be doing what he can in order to start to move forward in his life.

If there is a way that we would describe Poldark season 4 as a whole, it is as a manifestation of pain. For a number of different characters at the moment, we’re seeing it. With Caroline, for example, this season we’ve seen her suffer and struggle in the wake of losing her baby. Meanwhile, Elizabeth is having to still struggle amidst the aftermath of Valentine. While there was some hope of easier times for at least some characters earlier this season, it’s clear at this point that everything is starting to come off the rails in a pretty dramatic way.

In the end, if you love all things British television there’s a pretty good chance you’re going to love the remainder of Poldark season 4. While we do not want to give away too much more as to what’s ahead, let’s just say that we’re gearing up for a conclusion this year that is going to put many characters through their paces in ways that you did not expect. There are only three more episodes left…
