Magnum PI spoilers: Check out some episode 8, episode 9 scoop!
While we’ve seen a number of stories before with the Jay Hernandez series that really focused on establishing the world and bringing in some big-name guest stars, these two seem to be a little bit more about exploring Thomas Magnum himself. He’s got his cases that he needs to take on, but then beyond just that, you’re going to have an opportunity to explore some of his past.

Episode 8 – “Die He Said” – A man dying of lymphoma hires Magnum to find his estranged, bone-marrow-compatible brother who turns out to need Magnum’s help as well. Also, Magnum’s case brings back haunted memories for the guys of a past SEAL team mission that went sideways, on MAGNUM P.I., Monday, Nov. 12 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Episode 9 – “The Ties That Bind” – After a 16-year-old kidnap victim, Amanda (Lyrica Okano), escapes her captors, her parents hire Magnum, who experienced similar trauma as a POW, to find who took her, on MAGNUM P.I., Monday, Nov. 19 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Hopefully, these episodes do a great job of building towards some really exciting stuff in the weeks ahead — we imagine that episode 13 will be a huge one given that this was the final one before the extra episodes were ordered. Now that the full-season order is out there, this is a series with potential to move forward in all sorts of interesting ways.
