Manifest season 1 episode 6: The newest twist will pull you deeper into the mystery

NBC released the promo for Manifest episode 6 entitled “Off Radar,” and it is looking like it is going to be the best episode yet. The show has been building slowly toward this moment and we indulged in every minute.

Two weeks ago, fans learned that Cal plays a key role in unlocking the mystery and now, it appears that Cal is also physically and mentally connected to his fellow passengers who have gone missing. He becomes dangerously sick as more and more passengers suddenly disappear. Michaela, Ben, and Jared become determined to find out what is happening, especially after Ben begins to connect the dots between Cal’s sickness and Flight 828.

While the promo focused on Cal and his growing sickness due to his connection with Flight 828, we also saw glimpses into how it will affect the rest of the family. Grace is seen having reached her breaking point as she sobs against a wall. Grace’s world was flipped upside down when Ben and Cal went missing. She fell into a depression that she only came out of because she found a man that could feel her pain. Then Ben and Cal came back and she was once again thrown. However, their return came with some unexpected surprises and hardships from being part of Flight 828. Now she is learning that her son is at the center of all it. So we can see why she has reached a point where she just wants to cry and we feel for her.

Meanwhile, Jared and Michaela join forces again to figure out where the missing 828 passengers have gone to. While we can guess Michaela still hasn’t confessed to Jared the true nature of what is going on, it’s possibly that he may be let in on the secret soon given that he is helping Michaela. In addition, it would bring the two closer together. This relationship is tricky for fans because you want them to reunite as a couple, but at the same time we don’t want that because Lourdes has done noting to deserve that. The dynamic between the three characters brings so much to the table and with Jared getting closer to being in on the mystery, it’s only a matter of time before it could be the factor that truly brings back every feeling the two ever had about each other.

Overall, Mondays episode will probably answer some questions, while adding in some news one. It wouldn’t be Manifest if it didn’t. The mystery continues this Monday at 10pm on NBC. For more news related to Manifest, be sure to visit this link.
