Below, CarterMatt has The Good Doctor season 2 episode 7 synopsis offers up some other information as to what’s ahead:
Dr. Shaun Murphy and Dr. Morgan Reznick must contend with two brothers who are bargaining over life and death. Meanwhile, Dr. Claire Brown’s friend who is dying of cancer asks her for something she doesn’t think she can give her; and Dr. Aaron Glassman is dealing with the effects of his treatment.
While we know that The Good Doctor is the story of Shaun Murphy more so than it is any other character, we do think that this episode may actually end up being the story of Claire more so than anything. This series is a little bit more of an ensemble than it actually lets on, and we do appreciate the chances to learn more about these doctors’ social circles outsides outside of work.
Eventually, we do want to get some big stories for a few other characters, as well — we’re still angling, for example, to get to know Lea a little bit better independent on Shaun, and Dr. Alex Park is a character certainly worth diving into a little bit more. Given that there are 18 episodes in a season of this show, though, we have some confidence that there will be some good things that come for some of these characters soon enough.
