The Ranch renewed for season 4; season 3 episode 11 return date incoming

Ranch season 3 premiere date

Even though The Ranch has yet to formally set a season 3 episode 11 return date, know this: A season 4 is coming down the line.

According to a report from Deadline, Ashton Kutcher, Sam Elliott and Elisha Cuthbert are all going to be returning as main players for the Netflix comedy series, and the same goes for Dax Shepard after he came on board following the exit of Danny Masterson in season 3. Debra Winger is also set to make multiple appearances; it was Winger herself who first confirmed the news of the series’ return during an interview on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live.

So how many episodes are we looking at here for The Ranch season 4? It’s the same as it’s always been: Twenty.

In some ways, we’re not altogether shocked about this renewal given that The Ranch has an all-star cast and Kutcher remains a hot commodity for comedy series; this is also a unique comedy in that it’s for an adult audience, and yet follows a traditional, family-comedy format. That allows it to take on at times important subjects in a realistic setting. We weren’t sure for a while if the Masterson headlines would lead to Netflix deciding to just move on from the show, but that has turned out to not be the case.

The most interesting thing is that this season 4 renewal is being announced before we even know for sure about the air date for the remaining season 3 episodes. The first half of the season (entitled Part 5) premiered on the streaming service a little bit earlier this summer. With this in mind, we imagine that the second half of the season is going to be premiering at some point in the new year. Given that it’s almost November and there is no formal premiere date announced, we have to assume that it’s probably not going to be this year pending some last-second surprise.
