The first thing to note here is that there’s no new episode of the series coming on next week, and the reason for that is simple enough — the midterm elections. That’s going to dominate the airwaves for most of the night and understandably so; it’s better off that NCIS: New Orleans does not compete against something like that. We don’t want to see the ratings drop on any given week, especially this one.
Below, CarterMatt has the NCIS: New Orleans season 5 episode 7 synopsis with some other news on what to expect:
“Sheepdogs” – Following a deadly car explosion in the French Quarter, the NCIS team interrogates a professor and former member of a student protest organization. Also, Tammy discovers a secret about Hannah’s personal life, on NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, Tuesday, Nov. 13 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
This episode is certainly going to be important when it comes to delivering backstory for Hannah, who we’re still very much getting to know. She’s likable, a good leader, and it doesn’t seem as though she is going anywhere in the near future. (We don’t think that her sticking around means bad news for Pride’s future, even though we do think that the show is trying its best to make us worry about him here and there.)
As for the case of the week, this is one that seems to be tying itself towards movements involving young people throughout the country. Could a student organization really be responsible for a carb bomb, though? That’s something this episode will need to illuminate over time.
