Let’s get the bad news out of the way: The series is going to return to CBS come Tuesday, November 13 with new episodes. That means that there is no new episode tonight. As for the reasoning for that, it’s actually rather simple: The Midterm Elections. CBS doesn’t want to potentially lose some of its programming because of either people voting or also some election results.

“A Thousand Words” – After a mural by a street artist and activist is stolen, the NCIS investigation leads to a conspiracy regarding a Navy contractor and the safety of ocean mammals. Also, Bishop shares a special connection with the street artist, Tuesday, Nov. 13 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
This episode seems to be a personal one for Bishop, but there isn’t anything else super-notable about what we’re getting at the moment. For now, it just feels like there’s a chance for this to be a notable hour of character development … at least with one character. We do also think that this could be a particularly environmentally-conscious episode, and one where we get a message that is pretty important at this time. With there being so many headlines out there on a wide array of subjects, it is often rather difficult to focus on just one thing.
