Lucifer season 4 episode 8 tease: Discussing ‘Super Bad Boyfriend’

In a post on Twitter, the writers room gives away what we already did in the title: “Super Bad Boyfriend.” That seems to make perfect sense for this series, especially in the event it is a reference to Lucifer Morningstar himself. No matter the relationship that he’s in, we’ve got a pretty-good feeling that his inner darkness isn’t going to go away anytime soon. It’s also a cheeky title, and that makes sense given that we’ve had many a cheeky title so far this season. (The thing that’s a little bit sad now is that there are only two episode titles we have to learn still before making it to the end of the road this season.)
As for the team working on this particular episode, Jason Ning is a writer behind a number of Lucifer episodes, including the fantastic “The Angel of San Bernardino” and also the third episode from this upcoming season. He also just so happens to be a co-executive producer, so he is involved with a wide array of different facets of production. Meanwhile, director Claudia Yarmy is coming back for her fourth episode in this position on this show; she previously helped “Candy Morningstar,” “My Brother’s Keeper,” and then also “Quintessential Deckerstar” near the end of this past season. She’s got a lot of experience with this cast, and we think that having two familiar faces in the Lucifer world for this episode is important since we’re nearing the end of season 4. They should ensure that the story builds properly towards the finale.
