The Resident season 2 episode 7 preview: Could Nic’s sister be in danger?

Next week on Fox, The Resident season 2 episode 7 will be coming on the air with an important episode in “Trial & Error.” Anytime that a patient’s life hangs in the balance due to a complicated case, there are high stakes for the people at Chastain. We think that this is only escalated more when one of the patients just so happens to be a family member of a main character — think here in terms of Nic Nevin’s sister.

Over this episode, a prescription drug trial featuring Jessie could result in some unexpected complications; as a result of that, she and Conrad are going to do everything that they can in order to turn things around. These characters do function well when they are working as a team, and such is likely going to be the case here. Conrad knows how much this matters to Nic and will do what she can in order to ensure that there’s a proper conclusion.

When patients from the hospital’s prescription drug trial start suffering life threatening side effects, Nic fears that her sister Jessie may be in danger. As a result, she and Conrad work to convince Bell that these trials are not worth the risk. Meanwhile, Mina, Austin and Kit must set aside their competitive nature and work together on a patient whose health is quickly deteriorating and Devon uses Julian (guest star Jenna Dewan) as the beta tester for a product he’s designed in the all-new “Trial & Error” episode of THE RESIDENT airing Monday, Nov. 5 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

It’s certainly possible that Devon finds himself in some trouble with his new product, but we’re more or less assuming for the worst already given that we’re talking about a storyline that probably doesn’t have a happy ending to it.
