The Walking Dead season 9 episode 4 video: Will Maggie go through with her Negan plan?
At the end of this past episode, Lauren Cohan’s character made it clear that she was ready and prepared to cause a little bit of chaos when it comes to Negan. She wants some vengeance, and that means wiping the world clean of the character.

Yet, is Maggie really going to be able to find what she seeks here? The video below is almost a heat-check for her as there are questions aplenty surrounding whether or not this is the right move and if she should actually go through with the plan. It’s a risky one, no doubt, mostly because one wrong move equals things falling apart — there’s also the risk here that you end up angering Rick Grimes or someone else at Alexandria. These characters have actually lived in a time of relative peace ever since the end of season 8. How badly do you want to upset that metaphorical apple cart right now?
One other question to wonder is whether or not Maggie could do something here that ends up jeopardizing her leadership position. At some point, Cohan is going to be departing so that she can go do her new ABC series Whiskey Cavalier — the writers for The Walking Dead have to figure out a way in which for that to happen, without of course killing this character off. (We don’t want to see that happen, and we certainly hope as a result of this that the writers can figure out a way to be at least somewhat creative here.)
