The Walking Dead season 9 episode 4 preview: Rick’s past haunts him
This time around, though, the problem could be of his own making. When you are a guy like him who has done some of the things that he has, it’s pretty clear that you are going to make your fair share of enemies. As we move forward into this upcoming episode, this may be, at least in part, what’s coming up. Something is going to come about that causes his hopes to teeter into chaos, and it’s going to be up to both him and those close to him to try and preserve it.
As for what’s adding to the chaos at the moment, it’s pretty simple: The fact that there are only a select few episodes of The Walking Dead coming up as a series.

Rick’s vision of a civilized future is threatened by a sudden reckoning with past sins that remain unavenged and unforgiven.
Over the course of this episode, we’re going to hopefully have an opportunity to explore whatever this past issue is a little bit more. Beyond just that, we do hope that there are some things that are set up in order to make Rick’s exit a graceful / powerful one. We want there to be some sort of impact here, something that will both get viewers back to the show and help to make it all the more memorable. As a series, we think that The Walking Dead really needs some sort of big movement. After all, it’s been lacking that for a good while now.
