Chicago Med season 4 spoilers: Mekia Cox will return as Robin Charles
Rest assured, though, that you will see this character back and at some point near the middle of the season. Per TVLine and executive producer Diane Frolov, you will see Robin back for some of the second half of the season. Given that she does have a history with Connor Rhodes, there’s always going to be assumption that they could cross paths; yet, the site notes that this story may have more to do with “family.” With that, we’re not sure that she and Connor are going to be pairing up again. (Given everything that they have went through already, and Connor’s potential relationship with Ava Bekker, that could be for the best.)

Ultimately, what we’re perhaps the most interested about with Robin’s return is whether or not there is going to be an opportunity for her to bond a little bit more with Dr. Charles, given that he does really need to work a little bit on some of his father / father-figure skills. Just think back to Sarah Reese’s departure at the start of the season, as it’s fairly clear that he botched that situation in terms of how he decided to handle things with her actual father. Since that time, it’s felt like Dr. Charles has been hesitant to really get as close to some other people in the hospital as he once did. Could that be something that changes in the future? We have to think that it is a definite possibility, and Robin could be one of the best people to bring that side out of him again.
