Love Island USA season 8 finale: Is there any winner debate?

With the Love Island USA season 8 finale coming to Peacock tomorrow night, we understand if there is a singular question floating around: Who is going to win? Also, is there really much drama on that subject right now?
When you look at the finalists, there is an element of surprise in that six out of the eight contestants have been there from the first day of the season. Then, you have Kayda, who turned up on day two. Carl is the only person around who turned up later on,, and there is a lot of built-up emotional investment in the rest of the Islanders. We do tend to think that this is a reason behind a lot of the fandom and support at this point.

So when it comes to gauging the finale vote, the obvious choice here is Trinity & Bryce for winners. Think about your answers to the following questions.
1. Are both the man and woman in the couple popular?
2. Have they been there for all of the season?
3. Do they have a compelling story arc from start to finish?
Crazy as it may seem, but we tend to think they are the only pair to have a “yes” answer for all three questions. For Kayda & Zach and Melanie & Sincere, the woman is popular. The guy? Not so much. Aniya & Carl are both equally loved and have a compelling story, but we’ve also known him for a really short period of time compared to the others. We still think they are the biggest threat to Trinity & Bryce, especially since Aniya had that great story of recovering from extreme heartbreak with Carl, despite initially sending him home in favor of KC.
(Of course, the irony with Love Island USA in general is that the prize money here pales in comparison to whatever social-media partnerships the Islanders are going to get after the fact.)
