FBI episode 6 preview: A Senator’s daughter is kidnapped

FBI episode 6

Moving into FBI episode 6 on CBS next week, we’re going to see what may very well be the most high-profile case for the team to date. After all, a Senator’s daughter is going to find herself kidnapped and it will be up to Maggie, OA, and the remainder of the team to figure out how to help. The obvious problem here is mostly that time is running out and it’s going to be rather tough in order to get her back.

Below, the FBI episode 6 synopsis offered up some more information when it comes to what lies ahead:

“Family Man” – After a senator’s daughter is kidnapped and held for ransom, the FBI is called in to assist with finding the little girl before their time limit expires. However, in order to do so, they must dig into the senator’s past for clues to who did this to his family, on FBI, Tuesday, Oct. 30 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Ashley Williams guest stars as Alexis Moran, the senator’s wife and child’s mother.

Williams is one of the most high-profile guest stars that we’ve seen on FBI to date, and hopefully she will help to make this all the more memorable a case. So far, the writers have done a good job of giving us compelling cases. However, at the same exact time we do need something more here, whether it be compelling guest stars, interesting stories, and also getting a chance to know some of these people (especially Maggie and OA) more personally. This is something that may eventually come out with new showrunners Rick Eid and Derek Haas, whose handiwork will start to become clear a little bit later in the season. As of right now, the current run of episodes were created when Greg Plageman was the primary showrunner. We’ll see precisely what happens in the weeks ahead.
